I Want Wednesday!

Have missed a few lately but 'I Want Wednesday' is back. Inspired by these amazing hand embroidered cushion covers I spotted on Etsy earlier today. I have fallen in love and had to get them on here. They are the creations of sukan. How nice are they?!

I Want Wednesday!

It's been ages, I know, but 'I Want Wednesday' is back. It's just an excuse for me to browse lovely handmade products really but, as you don't just want to hear about Storeyshop all the time, I'll be bringing you my favourite shops and makers every Wednesday (just like the old days)! Today I bring you the woolly delights of UK-based Sara Carr on Etsy and Folksy. I love the shapes, colours and textures of her creations and I really need a pencil scarf (even though my initials aren't HB anymore). What a brilliant idea. Christmas shopping ahoy!

'I Want Wednesday'

English tarts today. And other crocheted delectables including custard creams, pink wafer biscuits and Jammie Dodgers. How amazing are these handcrafted wonders by Treaclezoo? You can buy them on Etsy or Folksy and I am so going to. I have some Christmas present recipients in mind but I think they'll be one of those gifts that you buy and then can't give away!

New Vintage Find!

After my last sad post, I'm happy again! Thank you to all you nice people for your comments. I'm more inspired than ever to up my game and get new Storeyshop products online soon. I'm also happy because my Mum sent my some socks through the post, I just posted 27 items at the post office and am (nearly) up to date with my orders!

In the Post Office earlier, a teenage girl asked the lady serving her how to get the stamps to stick. How scary is that? When the Post Office lady informed her of the highly technical process of 'licking', the girl explained that she'd never used one before; only ever email. It made me feel old. Although, saying that, I'm sure my young nieces and nephews even know to lick stamps!

I had a good tidy up and sort out over the weekend so I thought I'd debut my new charity shop find; a lovely crocheted blanket which looks fab on the bed. Perfect as the nights get chillier too...

My trilby from the photos of Seb Chinchillason the other day and my little china deer which I felt sorry for at a recent car boot sale. He was left at the end of the day so I splashed out 20p for him. Double the asking price! Well, I couldn't just leave him there.
