Easter Giveaway!

Happy Easter all! I hope you are all having a nice long weekend. Thank you for all your messages over the last few months. I am replying to them all as and when I get a chance but, if I haven't already, I will do very soon. Storeyshop will be open again in May. I've been back at my cutting mat today to hand cut a Christening card for one of Ted's little friends and it's made me quite excited for when I get scalpelling again. Ted is growing fast (check out his cute little bunny teeth) and starting to get around the floor (ahhh, must make this flat baby-friendly sharpish) and we are loving every minute!

EASTER GIVEAWAY TIME ... Head over to the Storeyshop Facebook page to enter my Easter giveaway now! The prize is a hand cut or laser cut poster or card of your choice and all you have to do to enter is LIKE and SHARE my latest update on the Facebook page. You can also comment on this blog post for a sneaky extra entry. Good luck! The winner will be announced next week.

Happy Jubilee Weekend & A Giveaway!

Hope you are all enjoying your long weekend of celebrating all things red, white and blue! I'm feeling a bit groggy as one of the evil colds that have been going around has finally caught up with me. I've been eating strawberries and cream and lots of cake though. Rude not to! Here's my Victoria sponge and Jubilee socks combo from yesterday... IT'S GIVEAWAY TIME! Head over to my Storeyshop Facebook page now to enter my giveaway to win a free laser cut card of your choice. Just 'like' and/or comment on the most recent post to be entered. I'll pick the winner at random tomorrow evening. Good luck!

In other news, I am now a whole year older as it was my birthday on May 19th. Had a lovely time celebrating in Sheffield before heading to Sussex to see family and friends and then to Lanzarote for our last child-free holiday! Photos to come of the bump abroad but here are a couple of my lovely birthday presents :)

I haven't had today off as I've been busy catching up with card orders. Getting there so the waiting time should soon be less again. I am getting bump ache though from leaning over my cutting mat. Anyone got any tips for comfortable working?!

Happy New Year!

Better late than never! Happy 2012 to you all and I hope you had lovely Christmas breaks? We had a lovely, relaxing week in Sussex catching up with my family and friends. It had been way too long! New Year was a lazy and quiet one spent back in Northumberland before the big Storeyshop catch-up began (I'm getting there now!)...

The amazing news is that I have made it! On Monday I hit the big 3000 sales in my Etsy shop. Can't quite believe I have even posted that many items, let alone made and packed them all too! Including my sales on Folksy and all the cards I have made for family and friends I am probably near to 4000! So, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported me and Storeyshop since the summer of 2007 when it all began. I could definitely not have done it without you!

As well as the freebies that will soon be on their way to the buyer of sale 3000, I'm also running a little celebratory giveaway over on my Facebook page. For your chance to win a laser cut Storeyshop card of your choice, all you have to do to enter is 'like' or comment on my latest giveaway update! I'll pick the winner at random on Friday. Good luck!

Chambers & Beau Jewellery Giveaway!

I have just spotted this fab giveaway offering the chance to win a fabulous piece of jewellery of your choice from the Chambers & Beau new collection (up to the value of £150) and thought I'd share! It's a gorgeous shop and I've been eyeing up cufflinks on there lately for Dave, or another lucky man in my life, while trying very hard not to get tempted by the lovely things for the girls! Definitely worth an enter.

Head over to Chambers & Beau's blog for details about entering the giveaway. You just have to have a little browse in the shop and comment on the blog post with your favourite items. Shopping is never exactly a chore in my book :) The winner will be announced on Valentine's Day. Woo! Fingers crossed.

Talking of Valentine's Day, card orders are coming in thick and fast so I better get back to my ever-increasing 'to make' list. I'll leave you with a couple of recent orders. Excuse the rubbish light in some of the photos but it has been dark every day for about the last two weeks!

Storeyshop Giveaway II

It's Friday and it has been a while since the first ever Storeyshop giveaway so I am at it again. I'm giving away one of my new, limited edition, laser cut cards!

You can choose an: 'I love you more than tea', 'I love you more than cake' or 'I love you more than cheese' card. Give it to that special someone for Christmas, their birthday, save it for Valentine's Day or just show your random appreciation after they take the bin out. Or, maybe you could send it to your Mum, Dad or friend? Share the love (the tea/cake/cheese part doesn't have to be true all of the time!)...

To enter is simples, and the different ways each count for one entry, so you can do more than one to increase your chances of winning. 1) Comment on this post; 2) Click to follow my blog; 3) Follow me on Twitter 4) Tweet or RT about the giveaway (add @Storeyshop and a link to this post -I'll keep a note of all the twitterers). You have until 10am next Thursday to enter and I will announce the winner on here and on Twitter at 6pm(ish) the same day. You can then choose which card you would like. Woo!

Happy Friday, happy commenting, happy tweeting and good luck. Oh, and have a fab weekend everyone...

Storeyshop Grand Prize Draw!

Woo hoo, it's officially May. May is my favourite month of the year, it means summer is well on the way also my birthday! Friday 1st May was also the day of Storeyshop Grand Prize Draw. The ceremony has just taken place and the winner is Big Blue Bed! Congratulations to Alix who wins a personalised, hand-cut card.

Thank you to everyone who left comments and clicked to follow Storeyshop. I will be doing more giveaways soon. For now though, if any of you would like to order a personalised card, mention this giveaway to get free postage!

Have a lovely weekend everyone. Enjoy bank holiday Monday too if you have one! I hope it's sunny. We have gardening to do and our new vintage deckchairs to get some use out of. It's not very rock and roll but there's also a knitting exhibition at The Alnwick Garden. We've been meaning to go and have a look around the gardens for ages so we might do that if the sun's out tomorrow.

Ta ra!

Storeyshop Twitters

Okay, so I have done it. I have signed up and I have twittered. I'm not sure what to do now. I have found a few people to follow from Company magazine, where I used to work, and clicked to follow Phillip Schofield (and a few other celebrities who get their PA's to twitter for them now again). Is that it? Is it just lots and lots of twitters? No photos or anything else at all? Maybe I just haven't embraced it fully but I think I might be bored of it already.

My twitter name is Storeyshop. When I first tried to register, Storeyshop was taken and I got all stroppy. Then I tried resetting the password for that username in case it was me and I'd just forgotten. It was. How bad is that, that I can't even remember? I think I nabbed it in the very early days just in case the name got taken. Anyway, it will be me twittering and it won't be all boring Storeyshop promoting so please follow me!

Today I have made and posted 5 card orders and made a few new cards which will be coming soon. Dave has taken the laptop to work today which has Photoshop on so no photo editing until tomorrow but that's probably for the best. I have a painful neck which I think is from sitting at the computer too long. Probably all the online scrolling through shopping pages! I should probably have a break from typing now too so I will leave you with a couple of new 'I love you more than...' cards I made a few days ago.

Have a lovely evening everyone and remember, there's still time to enter my free giveaway for a personalised Storeyshop card of your choosing! Read down to Mondays post for more details. All you have to do is follow this blog, join my Facebook group or comment on the prize draw post. I'll be doing the very grand prize draw tomorrow afternoon!

Storeyshop Loves Dads Too!

I couldn't face more spreadsheets today and fancied making some new cards so have started early on some hand-cut Father's Day cards. Dads need love too! These will all be for sale in Storeyshop over the next few days. I have made some other new cards but the weather outside is so grey and 'orrible that I'll have to take photos of them tomorrow when the sun will, hopefully, be back.

For anyone who missed yesterday's post, Storeyshop is having a free giveaway! See below for details. Plenty of time to enter and thank you to everyone who already has.

The First Ever Storeyshop Giveaway!

First things, first. Happy Birthday Freya! 11 today!

I always get excited at the prospect of winning something so I have decided to do the first ever Storeyshop giveaway! The prize is a personalised, completely hand-cut card. If you win, you can choose the design, message and colour(s) of your card. It can be for absolutely any occasion. There are lots of examples of custom card orders on this blog and in my shop so you can have a think about what you would like on your card and who you will give it to.

Okay, there are three ways to enter the giveaway. The first is to follow my blog (over there on the right somewhere), the second is to leave a comment about this post and the third is to join my Storeyshop Facebook group. If you do more than one of these things, you will be entered more times. Simple as that! If you are already following my blog or are a member of my Facebook group you will be entered automatically just for being lovely and getting there first.

I am going to do the traditional 'picking out of a hat' winner selection (I will actually use a hat to ensure fairness!) and will announce the winner on Friday 1sy May. Good luck!
